Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the start of summer, it is
a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their
lives serving our country. At Carriage Ford, we pause to reflect on
the tremendous sacrifice made by generations of American heroes who
fought to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

These service members were more than soldiers. They were fathers,
mothers, sons, daughters, friends, and neighbors who answered the call
to serve something greater than themselves. Their courage and
selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day weekend, we
encourage everyone to take a moment to remember the true meaning of
the holiday. Fly the American flag proudly, visit a memorial, or
simply pause in gratitude for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We are forever thankful to the military families who carry the legacy
of these heroes every day. Their strength and sacrifice continue to
inspire communities across America.

From all of us at Carriage Ford, thank you to the fallen heroes who
gave everything for our country. We honor your service, your courage,
and your sacrifice.

With the Deepest Gratitude,

Derby Fever

Apr 29, 2026

In Kentuckiana, there are a few things that simply mean more, and the Kentucky Derby sits at the top of that list. It’s more than a two-minute race. It’s a season, a celebration, and a tradition that brings an entire community together. At Carriage Ford, we feel that same sense of pride, energy, and connection every Derby week.

From the moment the first spring blooms appear, you can feel it building. Kentuckiana comes alive with events, from Thunder Over Louisville to the Pegasus Parade, backyard parties, and front-porch gatherings. Derby isn’t just something you attend, it’s something you experience. It’s family, friends, food, music, and memories that last a lifetime.

That spirit of community is exactly what drives Carriage Ford. Just like the Derby, we’re rooted right here in Kentuckiana. We’re proud to serve the same families year after year, helping them find the right vehicle for life’s biggest moments, whether that’s a daily commute, a weekend getaway, or loading up for a Derby party across town.

There’s also a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and performance. The Derby celebrates the best, elite athletes, careful preparation, and peak performance on race day. At Carriage Ford, we carry that same mindset into everything we do. From our lineup of hardworking trucks to reliable SUVs and performance-driven vehicles, we believe you deserve something built to perform when it matters most.

Derby week is also about showing up in style. Whether it’s a sharp suit, a bold hat, or a freshly cleaned ride, presentation matters. It’s the perfect time to make sure your vehicle is looking and running its best. A quick service check, detail, or upgrade can make all the difference as you head to events, host guests, or simply cruise through one of the most exciting weeks of the year.

But above all, Derby represents tradition. It’s about honoring where we come from while celebrating where we’re going. At Carriage Ford, we don’t take that lightly. We’re committed to continuing a legacy of trust, service, and community involvement that reflects the very best of Kentuckiana.

As you enjoy the sights, sounds, and excitement of Derby week, know that Carriage Ford is right there with you, proud to be part of the tradition, proud to serve this community, and always ready to help you get there.

Spring is here. and just like your home, your vehicle deserves a fresh start after a long winter. Cold temperatures, road salt, and potholes can all take a toll on your car, truck, or SUV. A quick seasonal tune-up can help you stay safe, improve performance, and avoid costly repairs down the road.

Start with the basics. Check your oil and replace it if needed, fresh oil keeps your engine running smoothly. Next, take a look at your tires. Winter driving can cause wear and tear, so make sure your tread depth is solid and your tire pressure is properly set. It’s also a great time to rotate your tires for even wear.

Don’t forget your brakes. If you’re hearing squeaks or feeling vibrations, have them inspected right away. Spring showers are coming, so make sure your windshield wipers are in good shape and top off your washer fluid for clear visibility.

Your battery and alignment are also worth checking. Cold weather can weaken your battery, and potholes may have knocked your alignment out of place, both can impact your vehicle’s reliability and handling.

Finally, give your vehicle a good wash and wax to remove lingering salt and protect your paint.

At Carriage Ford, our service team is here to help you hit the road with confidence this spring. Schedule your seasonal tune-up today at carriageford.com, because a little maintenance now goes a long way later.

March is one of our favorite times of the year at Carriage Ford and
for good reason. It’s college basketball season, and the energy,
excitement, and community pride that come with it are second to none.
That’s why we’re proud to once again sponsor the iHeartMedia NCAA
Basketball Challenge.

There’s something special about this time of year. Brackets are filled
out, rivalries heat up, and every game feels like it matters just a
little more. Whether you’re watching from your living room, listening
on the radio, or catching highlights on the go, college basketball
brings people together across Kentucky and Indiana and beyond.

At Carriage Ford, we don’t just love the game, we love what it
represents. Hard work, teamwork, perseverance, and heart. Those are
values we believe in, both on the court and in how we serve our
customers every day.

As a locally rooted dealership, we take pride in supporting our
community and cheering on all of our local teams. From the Hoosiers, Cardinals
to the Wildcats and every program in between, we’re fans first. We
know how much these teams mean to our customers, our neighbors, and
our friends, and we’re right there with you, celebrating every big win
and unforgettable moment.

Our partnership with iHeartMedia allows us to be part of the
conversation all month long, connecting with fans and sharing in the
excitement of the tournament. It’s more than just sponsorship, it’s
about being present in the moments that matter most to our community.

So as you follow your bracket and cheer on your team, know that all of
us at Carriage Ford are right there with you.

Valentine’s Day is all about love, fun, and doing things that make
your heart race a little, and honestly, that’s exactly why the Ford
Mustang wins for most romantic Ford car of all time.

Since it first hit the road in 1964, the Mustang has been turning
heads and stealing hearts. It’s bold, sporty, and just cool without
trying too hard. This is the kind of car you take on late-night drives
with the windows down, music up, and nowhere specific to be. The kind
of drive that somehow turns into one of your favorite memories.

The Mustang has always been about more than getting from point A to
point B. It’s about the feeling you get when you hit the gas, the
sound of the engine, and that little smile that shows up every time
you see it parked in the driveway. Whether it’s a first date, a road
trip, or a weekend cruise just because, the Mustang makes ordinary
drives feel special.

Over the years, the Mustang has been part of a lot of love stories,
real ones. Proposals, anniversaries, long talks, and “let’s just go
for a drive” moments have all happened in this car. And even today,
the modern Mustang still carries that same personality, mixing classic
style with new technology and performance.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating the kind of romance that
lasts. At Carriage Ford, we know the right car should be fun,
exciting, and make you look forward to every drive. The Mustang has
been doing that for generations and we don’t see that changing anytime
soon.

Because falling in love with your car should be just as easy as
falling in love in it.

Every February, millions of Americans gather around their TVs for the
same reason: the Super Bowl. It’s more than just a football game. It’s
a tradition. Families plan parties weeks in advance. Friends argue
over commercials. Halftime shows become cultural moments. Even people
who don’t follow football know exactly where they’ll be when the
kickoff happens.

That’s the power of tradition. It brings people together. It creates
memories. And it lasts.

At Carriage Ford, we understand the value of tradition because it’s
built into everything we do, and into the Ford brand itself.

For generations, Ford has been a part of American life. From work
trucks that built communities to family SUVs that carried kids to
school, vacations, and yes, Super Bowl parties, Ford vehicles have
always been there for the moments that matter. Like the Super Bowl,
Ford isn’t a trend. It’s a constant.

Carriage Ford carries that same mindset. We believe in doing business
the right way, treating customers like neighbors, and building
relationships that last longer than one season. Just like fans return
to the Super Bowl year after year, our customers return to Carriage
Ford because they trust us, and because tradition matters.

The Super Bowl reminds us why traditions endure. They’re familiar,
reliable, and meaningful. They connect generations and create stories
that get told again and again.

So while you’re watching the game, enjoying the commercials, and
cheering on your team, remember this: traditions don’t happen by
accident. They’re built over time.

And at Carriage Ford, we’re proud to be a tradition you can count
on…today, tomorrow, and every season after.

A major winter storm is expected to move through the Kentuckiana area, bringing heavy snow, ice, and dangerously cold temperatures. While you’re stocking up on groceries and firewood, don’t forget to prepare one of your most important investments, your vehicle. A little planning now can help prevent costly repairs later.

If possible, park your car in a garage or covered area. Keeping your vehicle out of snow and ice helps protect your paint, windshield, and door seals from freezing damage. If you must park outside, use a windshield cover or even a thick blanket secured under your wipers to help prevent ice buildup. It’s also a good idea to lift your windshield wipers away from the glass to keep them from freezing to the windshield and tearing when you try to use them.

Before the storm arrives, check your battery and fluids. Cold weather is tough on batteries, especially older ones. Make sure your battery is strong, your antifreeze is properly mixed, and your windshield washer fluid is rated for freezing temperatures. It’s also a good idea to keep at least three-quarters of a tank of gas. This helps prevent fuel line freeze-up and ensures you’re prepared if travel delays or emergencies arise.

Don’t forget to check your tires. Cold air can lower tire pressure, which affects traction on slick roads. Proper inflation and good tread are key to staying safe.

Finally, consider keeping a winter emergency kit with blankets in your vehicle. We hope everyone stays safe, warm and comfortable during what may be the storm of the decade.

If you’re unsure whether your vehicle is winter-ready, the service team at Carriage Ford is here to help. Schedule a winter checkup today at carriageford.com. Carriage Ford, Best by a Country Mile.

January winter weather can be tough on your vehicle. Cold
temperatures, ice, snow, and road salt all take a toll, which is why a
little preventative care now can save you from costly repairs later.
Taking a few simple steps can help ensure your vehicle stays safe,
reliable, and ready for whatever winter throws your way.

Check Your Battery
Cold weather reduces battery power, making January one of the most
common months for battery failure. If your vehicle is slow to start or
your battery is more than three years old, it’s a smart idea to have
it tested before it leaves you stranded on a freezing morning.

Inspect Tires and Tire Pressure
As temperatures drop, tire pressure drops too. Low tire pressure can
affect handling, braking, and fuel efficiency. Make sure your tires
are properly inflated and have enough tread to provide traction on
snowy or icy roads.

Top Off Fluids
Your engine coolant (antifreeze) is essential for preventing freezing
and overheating in winter conditions. Windshield washer fluid should
also be winter-rated to keep your view clear from slush, salt, and
grime.

Test Wipers and Lights
Winter storms and shorter daylight hours make visibility critical.
Replace worn wiper blades and check that all headlights, brake lights,
and turn signals are working properly.

Schedule a Winter Vehicle Check
The easiest way to stay ahead of winter issues is to bring your
vehicle to the Carriage Ford Service Department for a winter check.
Our factory-trained technicians can inspect key systems and make sure
your vehicle is ready for cold-weather driving.

Drive with confidence this winter and trust Carriage Ford , Best by a
Country Mile to help keep you on the road safely.

Christmas season in Kentuckiana always makes me stop for a second and take it in. The lights, the music, the cold air that somehow feels like home… it is a good reminder of what matters.
